In this role, he researched complex legal issues. He drafted bench memoranda and opinions on motions to dismiss in numerous civil cases, including securities fraud class actions, ERISA claims, and Fair Credit Reporting Act violations.
Since returning to our team as a summer associate for the firm while in law school and being sworn into the Massachusetts Bar, Evan has represented clients in various pretrial proceedings, including clerk-magistrate hearings, arraignments, and plea negotiations. He has successfully opposed Commonwealth motions for bail revocation successfully modified pretrial release conditions for clients.
Evan’s legal interests focus on constitutional protections, particularly search and seizure issues under the Fourth and Fifth Amendments, and evidentiary challenges involving hearsay, character evidence, and prior bad acts.
Before law school, Evan worked as a Legal Administrative Assistant at Fish & Richardson P.C., supporting attorneys specializing in intellectual property litigation.
Evan earned his Juris Doctor with a concentration in Litigation & Dispute Resolution from Boston University School of Law in 2024, where he served as Articles Editor for the Boston University Review of Banking and Financial Law and received a Certificate in Legal Research Skills for Practice.
